Terms and Conditions

Upon booking into a VUE Pilates class you agree to the following statement:

‘VUE Pilates activities, whilst care is taken, are not without risk which you accept, and in turn I indemnify in full, on a solicitor and client basis, VUE Pilates, it’s Directors, employees, contractors, instructors, agents and nominees against all liabilities, damages and costs arising from VUE Pilates activities. This includes but is not limited to, liabilities arising from any cause such as negligence, contract, statute including the Civil Liability Act 2002,
tortious or common law for any injury, death, loss, property damage or
expense arising out of or sustained to me or I cause, in the course of
my participation in the activities and programs offered by VUE Pilates, both on and off of the VUE Pilates premises or in relation to any activities, including to any party. I agree that VUE Pilates is not responsible in the event of loss, damage, unauthorised use, theft or injury resulting from and to any personal
property that I bring onto or undertake on the premises. I recognise
that this Agreement and Release and Waiver is a legal instrument and
that it is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by
Australian law. VUE Pilates liability in the aggregate is the
refund of the fees paid for the VUE Pilates activity. I recognise that by booking into a class I agree to the above terms and conditions and I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue and I do so of my own free will and assume all aspects of the risks involved.'


Terms and Conditions

Payment + Bookings + Attendance

1. Payment must be made upon booking. To book
into a class you must either have pre-purchased classes or have a valid
membership in your account or pay at the time of booking.

2. Bookings are made online through our website or via the VUE App.

3. Out of consideration for other clients, the instructor and also for
your own safety, the warm-up is an important aspect of each class.
Please be aware that if you are more than five minutes late for a class,
 the instructor may not allow you to participate in the class. This is
determined at the instructor’s sole discretion.

4. Owners and/or Instructor’s reserve the right to restrict clients to a
particular class type for safety reasons; and Owners and/or Instructors
reserve the right to turn clients away if they do not have the correct
medical clearance.

5. Classes are not transferable to another individual and cannot under any
circumstances be used by another person. NOTE: If someone other than the person booked into the class arrives to use the class, they will be
turned away from the class – or asked to purchase their own classes. You
 will not receive a refund for your class if this occurs and we reserve
the right to cancel your membership in this case.

Class Packs

1. Class Packs are valid for 3 months and are
activated on the first date of booking through our website, with the exception of 50 class pack which is valid for 1 year. Class Packs are non-refundable and are not transferable between individuals and CANNOT be extended unless you are injured, in which case we will request a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date. Other extension reasons will be dealt with on a case by case basis. Class packs cannot be shared as all class packs are for individual use only.

Weekly Memberships

1. Weekly Direct Debits are valid for 1 week (7 days) and are activated on
your chosen direct debit start date, automatically renewing every week for a minimum of 4 months. The membership will auto renew after the minimum contract period.
Weekly Direct Debits are non-refundable and are not transferable
between individuals and CANNOT be extended unless you are injured, in which case we will request a medical certificate. Extensions due to
medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date. Once a
membership has expired, memberships will be extended due to medical
reasons. Other extension reasons will be dealt with on a case by case basis. 

2. Weekly Direct Debits can be cancelled at any time after the minimum term of 4 months and by giving 30 days notice via email to hello@vuepilates.com.au

3. Payment will be automatically deducted from your nominated credit card each week (on your chosen day) or direct debit.
If payment defaults you may be charged a default fee of $10.00, for
each time there is a default in payment.

4. Where there are 2 or more defaults, your membership may be terminated, with prior money missed payments still payable.

Special Offers

1. Introductory Offer: You can only purchase the Introductory offer once,
if you have been found to purchase this offer more than once, you agree to be charged the per class rate for each additional class you do. The Introductory Offer is non-refundable nor transferable and will activate from the date of booking and ONLY valid for 14 days.


Waitlists

If a class you wish to attend is fully booked, please sign up for the
waiting list. Due to our 9hr cancellation policy there is movement in
the classes. Should a place become available then you will receive an
email from us confirming if you have been moved from the waitlist to the
 class. The 9-hour cancellation policy applies to those who have put
themselves on the waitlist for a class also. If you know you will not be
 able to make a class that you have waitlisted yourself on, it is your
responsibility to remove yourself from the waitlist. You need to ensure
that you turn on email notifications in your Glofox account in order to receive an email confirming that you have been moved from waitlist into the class. If you don’t wish to receive emails, you must ensure that you switch on app notifications in your Glofox account to receive a notification confirming that you have been moved from Waitlist into the class. If you do not wish to receive emails, it is your responsibility to ensure that you log in to the Glofox system to check if you have been moved from Waitlist into the class. Should you miss the class due to not having your notifications switched on or set up properly in Glofox or due to not checking your schedule in Glofox, you will forfeit that class or if you are on an unlimited membership, you will be charged a $25 fee in accordance with the cancellation policy. 

Cancellations

1. Cancellations/Rescheduling classes need to be made more than 9 hours prior to your class beginning. We do understand that sometimes unforeseeable circumstances can arise, but we have to be strict, consistent and fair with all clients, therefore, NO exceptions will be made to this policy. If you make a booking and fail to attend, without providing at least 9 hours’ notice of your cancellation by cancelling or rescheduling your class in Glofox, you will incur a lost of class and if you are on an unlimited membership you will be charged $25.

2. Private classes have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy.

3. Instructors and classes are subject to change without notice. VUE
Pilates reserves the right to cancel classes if deemed necessary.

4. Class sizes are limited to 12. Online booking opens days prior to class.

Pauses on Memberships 

1. Pauses on Memberships will require 2-weeks notice. Pause your membership up to 4-weeks, longer extensions will require a medical certificate. 

2. No refunds, transfers or extensions are available. 

The Payment Policy

Payment must be made upon booking, there are NO exceptions. To book into a class you must either have credits in your account or pay at the time of booking, or be on a current membership with the outstanding payments.

Age Restrictions

You must be at least 16 years of age to attend classes at VUE Pilates. Children younger than this age are not permitted in our studio
and are not to be left in the studio or waiting area while you attend
classes.

Pregnancies + Injuries

You must inform the Instructor if you are pregnant or have any injuries. Pregnancy are welcome up to 15 weeks in group classes. 15 weeks over you can attend a prenatal/postnatal class or book into a private class.

Illness 

If you meet any of the following criteria, you must refrain from entering the studio: 

  • feeling unwell

  • cold & flu symptoms

  • shortness of breath

  • difficulty breathing

  • cough

  • other respiratory symptoms

  • Close contact with anyone with these symptoms or with a confirmed case of COVID-19
